How it works

How onsite group training works

  1. Get an estimate

Pick the course and your headcount in the calculator. AHA courses show a per-student price by group size; Red Cross is quoted on request.

  2. Send the request

Add your company, contact details and a preferred date. No payment is taken with the request.

  3. Confirm the details

We reply to confirm the course, headcount, address and date, and what each person needs to finish online before the session.

  4. Online part first

All three courses are blended: each student completes the online part before the session (sold separately by the AHA for AHA courses, included for Red Cross).

  5. Hands-on at your site

The instructor sets up in your break room, classroom or conference room and runs the skills practice and test for every person.

  6. Cards after passing

Everyone who passes the skills test is issued their AHA card or Red Cross certificate, valid for 2 years.

Who we train

Teams that book onsite CPR training

Clinics, dental and medical offices

Clinical staff usually need AHA BLS Provider. The Dental Board of California requires BLS for license renewal, with an in-person skills session.

Offices, warehouses and job sites

Workplace responders usually take AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. Federal OSHA calls for a person adequately trained in first aid when no clinic or hospital is in near proximity to the workplace.

Schools, child care and camps

Staff who look after children often take Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, which covers adults, children and infants.

Gyms, studios and teams

Trainers, coaches and front desk staff are often first to reach someone who collapses. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED fits most of them.

FAQ

Onsite CPR training: your questions

Do you offer onsite CPR training in Long Beach?

Yes. CPR Long Beach teaches AHA BLS Provider, AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED and Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED on-site at workplaces in Long Beach and nearby cities, including Belmont Shore and Belmont Heights, Bixby Knolls and California Heights, North Long Beach, East Long Beach and Los Altos, Signal Hill, Lakewood, Compton, Seal Beach, Carson, Wilmington and San Pedro.

Can you run group BLS training in Long Beach?

Yes. AHA BLS Provider is available as on-site group training for clinics, dental offices and other healthcare teams across Long Beach, the Harbor area and the Gateway Cities. AHA groups start at 5 students, and the price per student drops as the group grows.

How is the group price worked out?

For the AHA courses, each student pays the per-student price of the tier your group size reaches, and the calculator multiplies it by your headcount for the estimated total. Red Cross group training is quoted on request.

What do we need to provide?

A room with clear floor space for manikins, such as a break room, classroom or conference room. The instructor brings the manikins, AED trainers and course materials.

Is the online part still required for a group?

Yes. All three courses are blended. Each student finishes the online part before the session: for AHA courses it is sold separately by the American Heart Association, and for Red Cross it is included.

When does each person get their card?

Cards are issued after each person passes the skills test, following American Heart Association and American Red Cross practice. All three are valid for 2 years.

Can my team train at your classroom instead?

Yes. Individuals and small groups can book any class at 121 Linden Ave, Suite B108, in Downtown Long Beach. Use the course pages to book.
